This meshwork is then made into high quality watch bands with the characteristic mesh look. Mesh bands are available in various thicknesses from very fine to thick and robust. Those who know the bands under the name Milanaise may be interested to know that the name of the bands can be traced back to the type of band's origin in Milan.
